NEHA announces an open call for papers for the Spring 2024 New England Historical Association meeting, to be held at Saint Anselm College in Manchester NH on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

We invite submissions of individual papers or full panels / sessions, and we encourage you to share our CFP widely. Among NEHA’s strengths are that it welcomes historical scholars of every stripe and affiliation and its smaller-scaled meetings allow you to connect and learn from each other.

We welcome proposals that reflect research from any historical field or subdiscipline, including applied historical scholarship in pedagogy or public history, and sessions in nontraditional formats, such as roundtables or screenings.

Who may present? Higher ed faculty, K12 educators, public historians and museum / library professionals, graduate students, independent scholars, and (with faculty sponsorship) undergraduate students.
